Soleil turned 12 months about 4 months ago (I know I am behind!). She started to walk and say a few words, like “mama”! She has become much more independent and a little bit stubborn and whiny. I hope this is a phase that passes! Anyways she still uses pretty much all of the things from the 3 month, 6 month and 9 month posts, as well as these:

1. Zebra Push Toy This really helped her build confidence on her feet! It also has a few switches and games to play with on the front so it has multiple uses. 
2. Shoes She needed to start getting used to wearing shoes on her feet now since she will need to wear them when we are out. No bare feet at the grocery store! I loved these Keds because they match every outfit we have and they came in small sizes.
3. Pool floatie We used this a lot in the summer time. When she was done with her swimming I could pop her in this and she could stay in the water without me holding onto her. There is a nice sun shade too to keep her skin safe.
4. NumNum Pre-Spoon GOOtensils  This was a great start to self feeding. The spoons were able to hold onto her purees and soft foods enough for her to put it into her mouth without it spilling off.
5. Take & Toss Straw Cups These were great to transition her to from the bottle. A straw was easy for her to get the hang of and the cups were small enough for her to hold by herself.
